 When to do first oil change on new '08 GTI |

Need a little help guys.....just wondering at what milage to do the first oil change, filter change on new '08 GTI?

you can go as long as 10k miles becuase vw uses fully synthetic oil. i just purchased on 08 gti this week.

i wouldnt though!!
new engine will have to have the pistons run into the liners which causes metal filings in the oil. i wouldnt want them floating about to long!!
