what i drive

seeing as there is no members cars section or project car section here i decided to post this here so i hope i'm in the right place!!

i have a mk1 golf that is in the middle of getting the full works. have engine in and running, full interior still has to go in.

will put up some pic's of it when its finished. the spec will be as follows;

-early model, small tail lights and early dash.
-5 door
-1.6gti
-full respray in white (was green)
-engine fully rebuilt
-ported and polished
-185 fast cam
-four branch manifold
-full stainless steel scorpion exhaust system
-mk2 16v brake disks
-mk2 16v master cylinder
-mk2 16v servo (boster is what you call it!!),
-opel (think there vectra) calipers and carriers,
-new wheel bearings,
-new drum set up on rears but will be replaced when i install a mk3 gti abs system.
-reconditioned snowflake alloys,
-lowered 80mm,
-anti roll bars all around,
-omp strut braces all around
-all rubbers every where done with powerflex,
-inner wheel arches installed,
-bootlid flushed,
-debadged grill,
-crosshair head lights,
-custom modified rabbit bumpers,
-twist fly windows (they come on all americain mk1's but are rare over here!!)
-new roof lining,
-and i'm looking for porsche door handles,

still have to decide on interior but thinking along the lines of s3 seats and leaving the rest standard with the early dash which i'm putting back in either way.

have an eaton supercharger from a g40 polo which will be fitted in the near future
