what hose is this? pics inside |

im pretty sure it has to do with my EGR
help me out so i can order the hose i need.
thanks
the first one is of the hose itself. it's the smaller one that is supposed to be connected to the bigger one i am holding. the second is a view of the engine so you can get an idea of where the hose is located

That is your PCV hose. That is a common problem with 1.8T's. This hose is plastic and snakes under the intake manifold to the oil filter housing. A cheap yet effective fix is to cut out and install a 5/8 hose to the plastic! This will not affect the way the engine runs but if the split is left there the oil will make a terrible mess!

I agree with part of this statement If left it wil cause check engine light to come on for charge air preasure drop. plus it makes a real big mess.
