Volkswagon Golf Mk3 SE or CL |
|
I had a '96 Golf CL 1.4. Considering I was 17, insurance was high. Which to be fair, seeing as I wrote it off, was sort of justified.
I'm now looking at a '96 Golf SE 1.4 and the insurance is a lot higher ( group 8 ) than an equivalent CL ( group 6 ).
Just wondering if anyone knows what differences there are between the two cars. All I can see is that the SE has a sunroof!!

thats a bit ridiculous!! buy the CL if there is no differences, you can always put in the SE extra's afterwards!!

I went to see the car the other day and it was sold... but glancing through the window I could see the ignition was all ripped out and it looked like you had to hotwire to start it!
The 1.4 SE was more on insurance than a 1.6. However now I'm looking at a 1.8. That's a lot higher on insurance!
