Tight turn "DONK" or "THUNK" sound - ass |
|
Hi,
When I'm completely stopped, and am making a tight turn, as I accelerate and start moving a "DONK" or "THUNK" sound is made. The sound seems to be coming from the Front half of the car. Any ideas?
Thanks for anyone who can help,
Cheers,
Forrest

Is it a signle sound or does it repeat while the car is moving?
if it is a single sound it may be strut bushing and tie rod ends that are worn and loose.

It is a single "DUNK" sound. Then it wont happen again until I make another slow tight turn. How much do tie rod ends cost? Is this something I need to fix right away?

if it is tie rod ends they are not to bad just need to have it checked out before you go and have it done or you DIY.
plus have the alignment checked.
Good luck
