Does anyone know.......could I interchange a stereo from a 2007 golf into my 2005 passat. There is an error on my cd player and the dealership will not even look at it to fix it. another option is to fix the stereo but I don't know where to go to get it looked at.

the Plug is the same but the radios are real differant. they may not work and the 2007 radio will not fit do to the way the radio is mounted.
