shifter plate

i have a 1969 vw beetle and i cant find reverse i think i put the platein up side down or something i was woundering if u guys had a diagram or something that you can send me so i can see where my mistake was made

the plate should have the raised area on the drivers side facing down as this is your R guide plate that the pin to ride along.
