Hello. I'm searching for either a VW Golf or GTI and need some advice and answers to some questions. I'm looking to purchase either a 2001, 02, 03, or 04. Is there anything I should watch out for when looking at the Golf or GTI? I already know I want a standard shift. I'd like to know if the GTI's had engine options for the years I like. I've noticed GTI's on-line with 1.8T, assuming the T is for Turbo. Do they also come without the turbo? Are there any issues with the turbo? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've been a Toyota owner for the last ten years due to the dependability of Toyota, but searching for a car that is a bit more fun to drive. Thanks, Chris.

i have an 03 GTI for sale right now..
its silver w black interior. automatic, power everything,excellent condition inside and out w brand new tires and brakes, 45K miles
im asking $10,500
thats 3 grand below blue book.
the car is in Baton Rouge Louisiana..
im in italy right now though but if your interested i can shoot you some pics
ima be back in the US in june.. and the car is going up for sale
hate to sell it but i need a truck unfortunately and im not around enough to enjoy my GTI..
