Problems with electric ariel |
|
I hate cowboys!! Got someone to replace a stereo in my 92 cabriolet as to have it done right, like that happened!! Old stereo might not turn on but a slight twist of the key and hey presto, this stems from the time the steering lock was broken and steering column had to be replaced, but anyway that still there but not a major problem, but the ariel used to go up and down, not since the new one was put in. Ended up pulling the stereo out my self anyway only to discover the lazy a-hole never even bothered to take off the old connection!! Looking at it if i took it off I'd be left with 2 black wires and one green one, anyone know what these should be connected to? remote, power, etc?? Also there was a fuse connected to the old connection, should this be on the new one? Is that why my stations have to be tuned in every time i start the car?? Any help or shotgun to take out cowboys would be greatly appreciated!!
