over heating when i hit a hill |
|
i have a 2001 130 sport pd passat. when i start climing a hill the temprature gauge hits boiling piont. ive replaced the water pump,radiator and thermostat and bled the system 3 times. still have the same problem. am thinkng cylinder head gasket now.anyone any ideas.

You may have a Thermal fan that is going bad plus have you checked to see if the cooling fans are coming on.

|
both fans are running. 1 all the time and the other when the car goes over 90. am not to sure what a thermal fan is. i could get my mechanic to check that out. am lost at what the problem is.
