 OIL LEAK |

I picked up this new 2008 Passat on Friday and noticed I have an oil leak. It ha 500 miles on it and it looks like it's leaking between the fromt tires. I think it's something easy at least I hope. I never owned a VW and I bought 2 since January. I hope my luck hasn't run out so soon.

I had the vehicle at the dealer for two days to check the leak. It appears that there was a defect in the manufacturing prccess. Apparently the oil pan had a very slight defect around the seal so the oil pan had to be replaced. Prety rare I guess??? Seems to be OK now
