Oil Canister leak - at the drain valve |
|
2006 VW Jetta
Ok - new to VWs and just changed the oil (25k)
Oil 0-30 Mobil 1
Fram oil filter
No problems in changing the oil (I have rebuilt/restored 1976 208Z)
Oil valve was pushed up and to the side (Large flat screwdriver) to drain the oil filter canister
BUT - upon staring and running the car - I have a steady drip coming from the drain valve on the can - I have tried to reposition the valve (rotating and in/out) no luck.
I do not see a nick or cut on the oring on the valve or on the plastic housing -
Is there a fix to this or do I need to go to the stealership for a new o-ring (providing it can be replaced) or a new housing (bet thats cheap)
A swimwear model picture (as I am a photographer) will be provide to the first VW expert that fixes the problem...
a taste
