hiya i have a mrk 3 golf gti 2l 8v 93. i had the usual promblem of the car cutting out when i come to a stop only started happening fri 10th may .ive done the rotor arm, disi cap, leads and spark plug sat the 11th may. after i done these basic changes to the engine the car turns over but will not start.theres plenty of fuel and spark but still wont start. has any1 got any answers 4 me thanks ppl

did you time the dizzy right when you changed it??

| idling to high |
|
i got the car running now but it idles at bout 1200rpm,im needing to get it back to about 800rpm any1 got clue how i may sort this out?

i'd say your dizzy isnt timed 100%
