Sad I have an M-reg 1994 mk3 golf 1.8 driver. I drove 200+miles without any hassle, then, at a roundabout it cut out. I tried re-starting it, but it struggled for a while. There was power, but it wouldn't start. I left it for a minute then she started no problem at all. She drove a further 30miles, then did the same thing. She re-started after leaving it a couple of minutes. The tank had half a tank of fuel. I got a new fuel pump fitted last year. I also noticed that when overtaking, she would struggle in 3rd for a second, then be fine. She has backfired a couple of times lately. Usually it drives geat, this is a very sparadic problem. She has done 155000miles. PLEASE help me as i need my car for work and it's starting to get dangerous. Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad
