Hi
I have recently purchased a VW 1.4 Polo the problem is that i have noticed that there appears to be an intermitten bonking sound coming for the front passengers side, i have also heard this on back passenger side but not as often appears to sound as if its coming from wheel area. It has been into a vw garage regarding problem as under warranty, they have been very good and replaced bush and anti roll bar links but this didnt cure problem. I have also been out with a techian but we drove on flat smooth roads which the noise does not happen on,it happens whether i drive fast or slow but always on uneven roads pot holes etc. I collected car yesterday after they seemed to think it was a noise was under dash something to do with a duct which they insulted? Apparantly a common fault which they have been bulleted about to all VW dealers. My warrantly expired 2.2.08 and i can not afford to keep investigating the matter. Has any body got any ideas please i would be extremely grateful.
