 Jetta II cuts out when idling or turning right |
 |
Can someone please help. My 1989 Jetta cuts out when idling and when making a right turn. I have exhausted all avenues and am now desperate for help.

| Have a look at your idle control unit |

Oliver I cannot guarantee that this will solve your problem but I had the same problem with my 1992 Mk2.
If you start up your Jetta and turn the steering, and it seems that the car wants to stall then have your idle control unit replaced.
My issue was solved after replacing mine.
