I have a 2002 passat. Sometime, there is smog coming out of the hood and spreading around while driving and after,
I noticed that oil drops on the exhaust then it smells like oil burns.
I do not know what I can do?

V6 1.8T?

you may have cam chain tensioner seals and valve cover gasket leaks.
this is the most common concern.

I had the same problem. It was the valve cover gasket. By the time I noticed the constant smoke, the chambers where the spark plugs sut in was full of oil. My advice, get it fixed and do a tune up. You will notice th difference in performance and save money in gas
