 hi im planning on buyin a MK2 golf- but have questions |

so i recently passed on an auto and am going to buy my 1st car- a golf mk2 as insurance will hopefully be a bit cheaper for a non-GTi
but i need some advice- im going for an auto golf driver- what do you all reckon
also for those older models- how much mileage is considered too much- im buying used- naturally
can anybody reccomend some good places to search for MK2- ive tried the usuals- autotrader, ebay, exchange and mart, loot, yahoo cars- the best seems to be autotrader- but can somebody reccomend some others
like i said im totally new to the scene and will be grateful for some quality feedback
