good price for a 2001 jetta gls 1.8T wolfsburg ed? |
|
I'm trying to sell my 01 jetta 1.8T (wlfsbrg ed, 116K mi) and wondering if anyone has any input as to what a good asking price would be for it. I've checked KBB, but I wonder if any of you VW connoiseurs had an idea of what I could realistically start out trying to get for it? or if you know anyone who is interested, could you let me know?? i'm located in CT
Recent work done to car:
New starter
New cylinder head
New timing belt
New spark plugs/coils
3 Brand new tires

Whats it worth |

In order to provide you with an answer to this question I will need more info. Most important is current mileage. This alone could either add or take away a great deal of value to this vehicle. 2 is condition and I mean accurate condition. Dings Dents and scratches can mean a lot to most buyers as does chips or cracks in the glass. Please keep in mind that NEW things do not add to the vehicles value Bad things do deduct. For example: a new muffler, the guide book value considers that the exhaust system is in good condition but if it is not then this needs to be deducted. 3 Does EVERYTHING work? AC, Radio, Power options . And finally. Why would you put on 3 new tires? This could lead to handling problems possibly severe problems. Unless the odd tire is very close to NEW and is the same make and model tire I wouldn't advertize this fact.
If you fill me in on these details I can provide you with an accurate recomended ASKING price
