 Fuel pump problem |

I own a 2006 model B6 2TDI Passat (it is my 3rd and the last Passat in the last 10 years).
On October 2006 I got stuck and had to be towed to the garage, The diagnosis was Fuel (gas oil) pump failure.
On April 2008 I got stuck and had to be towed to the garage, The diagnosis was Fuel (gas oil) pump failure.
Is it normal to get stuck with a new, high class, car like passat twice in 2 years? I do not think so!!!
It looks that the quality and reliability of the Passat is very low.
