Ethanol fuel additive ?? question |
|
I have been told "NOT" to use any blend of ethanol fuel ( not even the up to 10% ethanol added in the Atlanta Ga. market) in our 2005 VW New Beatle , w/ standard engine.
Can any one tell me why? or even if this is true?
Thank you for your time and help.
Chuck

Well Chuck,
the main reseson is that VW cars Where not Programed to run on that fuel This is the most easy way to tell you NOT to use it. The second reason is that There are larger repair bills coming to those cars that run on this stuff.
ethanol is so bad on rubber seals and weaker metals that is causes harder wearand tear on your motor.
VW based cars like the heavy high octane fuel to run they way the where built for. that is to drive and enjoy driving them.
