 electric problems |

I have a 1.4 golf cl, j reg. I am having difficulties with the car revving at 20000 revs without my foot on the peddle, its also stalling in high gears and some times turns off completely. Does any one have any ideas where to look. Its an old car so i want to try and sort it out myself rather than pay out for work to be done
