 Door lock tumber piece |

Hi again, so just the other night, I was going to lock my car up and I found the key didn't do anything. After removing the door handle, I found the metal piece that connects to the tail end of the tumber (looks like a metal paddle with a hook at the end) had a broken hook. The tumbler at this point was real easy to pull out.
So I decided to rob Peter to pay Paul, I took the metal paddle from the passenger side door to put in the driver's door for now. My question is: when I request a replacement...what is this part called? Does it have a part number I can reference to? Plus the metal looks pretty cheap, is this a recall item?

Not a recall item but there is a new and stronger one.
most dealers have this and all th epieces you need there cheap.
under 25 bucks.

go to the junk yard and snag one from another vw, thats what i did.
