clunking noise |
|
On my mk4 golf, whenever i turn the steering wheel full lock either way there is quite a loud clunking noise coming from the front driver side wheel, just wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what this may be?
Cheers

Defintately dirt in the CV joint. Even with a cleaning and greasing, you will still get the noise.
Only way to get rid is replacement. Check CV boot conditions ever year to prevent this dirt m-gurt from entering there. Cuz it's kind of a biatch to replace, and easily preventable.
p.s. with CV replacement, replace boot as well.
