Climate Question on 06 Golf 2.0 TDI Sport 140 |
|
Hello All,
Wondering if some one could help me please! Just picked up my new golf last week. Now I did not have much time to go through the controlls and bits with the salesman.
One thing I have noticed is that the climate control warms up nicely but then starts blowing cold air! Okay I hear you all saying well of course it will do but even if I turn the ECON on it does not warm up unless I turn the temp up. It actually just stays blowing cool air!
Am I missing some thing here? Sorry if this is a daft question. Or am I missing the whole point of ECON and Climate?
Thanks so much for your help,

Hello, Where I live in Northern Canada, there is nothing funny about your question. On a cold day the last thing I want is a system doing exactly what you said. I need a defroster blowing hot air on my windshield, and hot air around my feet.
Your car is not an old beater like mine. I sujest you ask the dealer for an operators manual that should be specific to your car. They are the experts and should be happy to help you. If they are not, try a different dealer. allan
