Hello. I'm a Beetle owner again. I recently got a 65 Beetle with supposedly low mileage. Everything looks pretty clean and straight, but there are lots of issues just from being so old. I've had 2 other Beetles in the past. The last was a 63 back some 25 years ago. Then there was my favorite, a 57. I had a 70 Bus too. I'm going to have lots of questions about this car. I got a real good deal on it. The fella selling it had someone who wanted it but wanted to Baha it. I called and asked about it and told him I was looking for a father - son resto project. He said "you win" and sold it to me for half the asking price. Anyway, as I said I'll be having lots og questions as I go through this and am looking forward to being a part of this forum. My grandpa used to say, "The only dumb question is the one you don't ask."
Thanks, Dave
