 Automatic Transmission |

I bought my 16 yo daughter a 2002 Passat with 40000 miles. After 2 months the transmission seems to be stuck in high gear. While driving it will not change gears in auto by moving the shifter up or down or switched to the manual side. I can't even find a way to check the tranny fluid. Can anyone give me some advice? My daughter is devistated.

Hello, My advice is talk to a local transmission shop. Ask for them to give you a repair estimate. Then get a second opinion. I have a shop I trust, and a good answer costs a 6 pack of cold beer. Seriously you need to consult a pro. Allan
