Airbag Light on! |
|
Installed an amp and sub, and rewired the deck and all speakers.
Disassembled some dash panelling and ran signal wire past the steering column back in that little compartment. Pulled panelling along door threshold and ran wires under that as well.
Didn't seem to disturb much in the process.
Airbag light came on recently afterwards, and has stayed on for months now. Ran it on a computer and it just brought up and airbag sensor error code or some bullshit.
Anyone have any ideas on this one?
I've been in an 80km/h accident in my MX-3 with no airbags so the deployment is not exactly my concern. I just want the damn light to go off! (legitimately of course)
Wiring? connection? sensor? . . .

i have seen a crazy article in the paper about body shops steeling undeployd airbags out of car they work on, and sale them back to the dealerships. may be you bumped you light wire back into place... its a long shot but you may not have a airbag in your car anymore.
