 ac heat control unit needed |

i just bought a 92 passat gl and i need the ac and heat control panel/assembly....
the one in the car doesnt work and once i took it apart to see what was wrong i noticed the lil brass part that makes the contection for the fan speed was all mangled up and fell out....
and the temp and area selector doesnt turn all that good.....
ive tried ebay and can only find for 98+ but it looks the same as mine.....would that work or does someone happen to have one lying around????

Sorry, I do not know, but I bet the new version is an updated replacement part. I would ask a local wrecking yard that handles passats. Al
