 97 jetta wanting to install fog lights on car not equipped |

I have a 97 jetta that i'm wanting to install fog lights on. The car isn't originally equipped with fog lights. I have studied the wiring schematic and if I change the factory light switch and the front light harness the lights should work. Has anyone done this or is there a better idea?

you can do it that way or you can create your own loom, switches etc for it.
