97' GLS - Changing the Speedometer Cluster Lights |
|
I've looked around via Google and did a few searches here without any realiable information on this subject. What i'm attempting to do is replace the worn out green lights in my instrument cluster and speedometer cluster.
Any information would be helpful, thanks
*update - found a reverse indiglo gauge face install guide - http://www.icbm.org/erkson/personal/mycars/ri_gauge_faces/index.htm - BUT it still doesnt help my situation - thought it would help someone though?

ok while siting in the driver seat you will remove your head lamp switch the cover trim on the right side just above the Key.
you will remove left side dash vent center vents both the pull straight out.
you can use a small plastic knife so you do not scratch your plastic.
you will pry at the center area on the dash vents one side at a time while keeping pulling preasure out twards you.
you will see 5 screws this is holding the dash trim remove them.
them there is only 2 screws holding instrument panel. tilt panel to you and you will see 3 Green bolt looking items at the top near you those are you bulbs.'
they may be a differant color just make sure you replace with the right color.
good luck
