 92 jetta gl 1.8 new clutch worked a week now wont reverse |

shifted into reverse then being stupid I popped the clutch hard it made a real loud nasty noise, and now it just makes clicking noise as if almost in gear already changed trans fliud and clutch cable all other gears work fine

sounds like you broke something in the box. you may take it out and either change it or fix what ever you broke. if your going to fix it i wouldnt drive it anymore untiil you do because there could be bits floating around inside it which ccould damage other gears.

the 5th and reverse gear and enough minor damage to the orthers to just rebuild it all
