'73 Beetle brake lights not working |
|
I noticed that the brake lights on my '73 Beetle stopped functioning. I don't think it is a problem with the lights as there doesn't appear to be any voltage making it back there. Any ideas on what the problem could be?
Thanks,

Well, I think you should test the "pressure switch" located in the master brake cylinder with an ohmmeter or a test light. It should be (ON) when pressing the brake pedal and goes (OFF) when depressing. Also check the 2 wires connected to it.
I hope this will help.
Please send me back for the results.

Did you checked the On and Off switch already? and the wire connecting to it, maybe they're not attach properly..
I am also having a problem with my volkswagen beetle radiator...so sad... maybe i need to replaced it..
