60 70's model transaxles |
|
I saw some race cars of old days past but the engine was in front of the transaxle they were built like rails. Does anyone have a clue how this is accomplished. I went to a repair site and looked at the transaxle and it looks to be possible to switch the drive gears over in the axle housing and indeed make it opposite, allowing the engine to be in front of the transaxle and have 4 forward and a reverse gear? A site would be good that I could do the leg work on to find this information.
