2008 Jetta - How To Install HID conversion Kit |
|
Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows a way to install an HID conversion kit (the ones on ebay for under $100) on a 2008 Jetta? I have a brand new H7 HID conversion kit and don't see any way to do this without cutting all into the existing wires. I've never seen a car where there are no wires coming from the plastic piece that the bulb snaps into. Also, I am leasing this car, so I would need to be able to put it back exactly the way it is now without Volkswagen suspecting anything or voiding my warranty. That's my biggest concern. If anyone knows how to do this, can you please provide step by step instructions? I am a girl who knows nothing about this, thanks.

man I wouldnt do that since your leasing the car, if I would u I would just buy the car them things are nice as hell, just upgrade lights to H7 SilverStar look at mine these are upgraded H7, the regular stock head lights suck but they are easy to change, the high beams are kind of difficult they have a stupid clip.

Thanks. I agree kinda risky. Hey Matt02310... exactly what kind of Silverstars are those? I heard that the Ultra Night Vision are really good. Do you or anyone else here have these, and do they really make that much of a difference like people are saying they do?
