2008 GTI gas |
|
Hi,
I really love driving my new 2008 GTI. I read somewhere I could use hi-octane or regular gas in the GTI. I assume the peformance will be better with high octane? Will using regualar gas harm the engine or turbo charger ?

You will HATE the car if you use low OCTANE fuel.
she will perform better if you can use 97 octane. good luck finding some one that has it.
It runs about 8.50 a gallon here. Big problem is you have to get it a a fuel depot. and they will not sell it to you if you put it in a street driven car. I Love Cali.
good luck

volkshaus,
thanks for reply. I figured I'd have to use high octane but I beleive the highest octane here in Florida is 94 octane.
Doubt I can find a 97 octane here?...Will ask around. Probably would be too expensive anyways...
