Any, like, he wants to put some lowering springs, and he was talking about a CAI, personally, i don't think it needs one since is turbo and the intercooler gets cool air into the engine, but like i said i don't know much about this cars, so, i might be wrong, but, you got the idea? and i know you have more experience on this kind of cars, thank you

ya lowering springs would be good. buy as expensive as you can afford would be my advice.
power wise, bigger turbo, bigger intercooler will give small gains. best way to go is a remap of the ecu if you want something more serious.

im looking into either keeping my 03 gti or getting an 06.
when you mod your car does it effect the warranty? this will weigh heavily on my choice seeing as i have no warranty left on my 03.
can you explain mapping the ecu a little bit?
how much do chips usually run for 03 gti's?
im not thinking about doing a lot to it, maybe chip, intake, new gauges, TINT(it's killing me not having tint), and possibly lowering it(but steep hills and driveways are already enough of a pain so i doubt i will)

when you map an ecu your changing the shape of the power and torque curves. you can map for different applications, power, fuel economy etc.

one thing you can't do is...... you can't change the steering response to be tighter on any 07 VW and up.. Sad Sad
