2003 Jetta Wolfburg GLS 1.8T Manual |
|
I am looking at a 2003 Jetta Wolfsburg. What does the Wolfburg edition add to the GLS trim? I am told it has the 17" wheels and the handling package - I have not seen or driven it yet.

Well, I'm not sure about the '03, but I have an '01 and it has 17" BBS rims, 12 in vented audi discs in the front 8 in in the back, Premium Monsoon sound system, bolstered cloth covered front seats, leather hand stitched shift knob (5 speed), and to quote europeancarweb.com "wolfsburg's fully independent suspension, calibrated with stiffer settings for both struts and springs, is comprised in front of a MacPherson strut system with coil springs and lower wishbones; at the rear is a track-correcting torsion beam axle with high-volume rubber bushings, gas-pressurized shocks and coil springs. In both the front and rear, stabilizer bars are used for improved body-roll control. "
It's a great car and honestly, well worth the money I've enjoyed every moment with it And from what i've seen around online the two cars are essentially identical......
cheers! I hope this helps!
