2003 Jetta 1.8T Thermostat location |
|
Can anyone tell me the location of the thermostat on the 1.8T engine. I have heard that Volkswagen uses a reverse cooling system but i am new to this vehicle. i tried to locate a repair manual but i have not had any luck there either.

is the best way to access this is to remove the intake manifold and/or altenator? this seems likle a very small space to work in. i am afraid that a dealership is going to charge me an arm and a leg to change out a $12.00 part. But if you think that i may be getting in a little over my head i have no problem taking it to them if the price is reasonable.
