2002 Jetta GLX Electrical issues- please help! |
|
Hi-
Out of the blue my wipers, turn signals, headlights (paking lights and brights work) heater/ac blower, rear defrost and horn stopped working. It's not a fuse problem...unless I missed a panel of hidden fuses. The car is a 2002 Jetta Vr6 GLX with 106K miles on it.
Please help (email me ASAP!) Thanks.

Hello, I bet you missed a fusible link. I have never worked on that model, however look on the battery. The positive post clamp usualy has 1 large wire to the starter solenoid. Some VWs have fusible links attached at that clamp. Others have them connected on the large connector , on the starter solenoid. Look for burned or corroded wire ends at both those places. Allan
