Hi All,
Can anyone advise me on how to change the auto transmission fluid on my Passat, or direct me me to a site that can help? Also does anyone know of an alternitive transmission fluid.

Hello, I would sujest you ask a equipped shop such as a Amco tranny shop. To do the job requires a rather pricey
recycing/cleaning pump. I have acces to one, my employers cost was $4000. It uses $150 worth of filters for each type of oil. Not something they like to lend out. The transmission oil specs are available to major oil companies, and if you want to save money you can. Most bulk plants have sales people only too glad to help you. Good Luck Allan
