 1997 Passat GLX VR6 NEED HELP! |

I recently just bought a 1997 Volkswagen GLX VR6 Passat. The thing is sweet. But, my e-brake is jammed. This is a standard, so the e-brake is rather important. The e-brake is locked ON. The lever will go up and down, but feels very loose and it feels like nothing is even there. The e-brake is still on even though the lever is down. Can you please help me? Im a noob. Thanks!

Hello, You have a fkd'd cable. Jack the car up and put her on stands. Release park handle. If one wheel is jamned on , cut it off close to the drum, then replace it.
