1996 Jetta Electrical Problems |
|
Hi, I have a 1996 Jetta Trek 2.0 with major electrical problems. I drove to work and all was fine. On the way home from work I noticed that the radio, rear defogger button, blower motor(for heat and a-c), headlights(which are daytime running) and wipers no longer work, and I do not know what caused it. Has anyone had this problem or know what may be causing it?? I know that the morning i went to work we had a huge snow storm and on the way out of the driveway there may have been some snow that went up into the lower part of the radiator and surrounding areas and it started cutting out and stalled. After about 45secs or so of cranking over..it finally fired back up and crackled like it wanted to die so i held the gas on. another minute went buy and problem solved...ran like usual with no problems until the way home. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this problem is driving me nuts trying to figure it out.
