1974 Super Beetle gas leak under car (please help) |
|
Hi everyone,
I just found a gas leak under the car today. It is coming from a gas line under the car towards the rear. It looks like it is coming from the line where a clamp is located. I need to get the car up in the air to be able to fix this, but the emergency break is frozen so I can't get it up on a ramp. LOL. Nothing is easy I guess.
Anyone have any experience fixing a gas leak in the gas line? If so, please share your experience with me and any tips to help me get this fixed.
Thanks in advance everyone!

The only advise I can give is do the whole line, from front to rear. I took my truck to the shop when a line went. The shop fixed it, 6 months later its back in the shop because he only fixed the "part that was leaking".
