1970 Beetle Switch key |
|
Hi new to the forum and was wondering if someone could help. I have a 1970 Beetle since 1980 and recently have misplaced the switch key. i need to move it into my garage so I can start restoring it. As you know this model has the locking steering wheel and without the key I cant even move it. Does anyone know of a way to getting a key to fit it.
Thanks everyone Calvin

you can remove the passanger side door handle there is a # code with a letter that is your key code.
you can go to a lock smith and have he/she cut you a new on.
so long as the door key is the same as the Ignition key
