06 Jetta GLI - New Exhaust or Cold Air Intake?

Hey guys,
A year and a half ago I got a brand new '06 Jetta GLI. Since the day I got it, I've been in love with it and love driving it. I currently have nearly 17000 miles. Any who, I've recently taken in interest into either putting on a new exhaust or perhaps a cold air intake. I'm looking for information about either one, good brands, ect. I don't know much really about either of them so the more information you can give me the better. If you prefer one over the other that would be helpful information as well. If you post a type or anything, if you could include a link as to were I could find it if i were to purchase it. (I'm really looking for one or the other)

For Intake Neuspeed and K&N are superior.

For exhaust Techtonics is what I perfer and use myself.

hey it depends on how much you want to spend, the cheaper thing to do will be the intake and since its a turbo charged car it you will most likely have a greater HP than an with exhaust...its also much easier to install you can do it yourself as the exhaust might take a couple hours. and with the intake it will improve your gas mileage. so for me i would start with the intake and then later purchase a cat-back system.
